CUB Launches Price Calculator, Warns Chicagoans of "Bad Deals" As Aggregation Ends

In light of the City of Chicago ending its municipal aggregation program, the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) on Wednesday unveiled a free calculator to help residents decide how to save the most money in the electric market.

The calculator compares supplier rates versus the default service cost

With 600,000 aggregation customers returning to default service, CUB noted that Chicago residents, "could get inundated with marketing pitches from competing suppliers eager to get new customers."
