Former FL PSC Chair: FPL "Distort[ing] Truth", Using "Scare Tactics" In Fight Against Energy Choice

August 19,2019

Nancy Argenziano, former chair Florida Public Service Commission, had an op-ed published in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, in which Argenziano writes that a recent op-ed by Florida Power & Light's President, "distorts the truth and utilizes scare tactics," in FPL's fight against retail electric choice

Argenziano discusses FPL's history in being able to, "bend[] both the Legislature and the Florida PSC to its designs, to the detriment of its ratepayers."

Argenziano also writes that FPL's claims about the alleged negative impact from retail choice are unsupported.
