"Deception Used To Sell Electricity," Residents Warned

The Better Business Bureau of Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan is warning customers about "aggressive" door-to-door energy markets, the Toledo Blade reports.

Dick Eppstein, president of the Better Business Bureau of Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan, told the Blade that suppliers, "are hiring firms to do marketing for them and these companies are in turn hiring people who are going out and saying almost anything."
