Illinois Proposes Authorization Form for Supplier Access to Non-Billing Customer Interval Data

The Illinois Commerce Commission has opened a proceeding to adopt procedures governing the authorization of retail electric suppliers to access specific customer interval data that is not used for billing purposes (Docket 14-0701).

The ICC Staff has issued proposed template language for a customer authorization form to grant suppliers access to such data, which can be found on page 4 of this Staff report.
