Muni Aggregation Gets Only Three Bids For Service (Two Qualifying)

July 16,2014

Only 3 retail suppliers submitted bids to serve the municipal aggregation of the Village of Indian Head Park, Illinois, the ComEd service area, the Chicago Sun-Times reports

Only two of the bids included all information required.

While that might be par for the course these days, given the pullback from several formerly active muni aggregation suppliers, it's one of the first comprehensive public reports of how active the bidding was, so we feel the confirmation is noteworthy. Often, local press reports will list just the winning bidder, but not the total amount of bids received.
