Pepco Files Report on Supplier Consolidated Billing, Seamless Moves, AMI Data

July 14,2014

Pepco filed with the District of Columbia PSC a workgroup report on supplier consolidated billing, seamless moves, and the provision of AMI data to suppliers.

The report did not make any recommendations, but summarized parties' positions.

Regarding supplier consolidated billing, Pepco said that, "the costs to customers may outweigh the benefit as only 4 of the 34 currently active Suppliers in the District of Columbia expressed interest in offering SCB."

Pepco listed five suppliers as being interested in SCB (presumably one of these is not active): "American Electric Power [sic, AEP Energy], Liberty Power, Champion Energy, Direct Energy, and Washington Gas Energy Services."

Seamless moves were not prioritized by any party after Pepco listed the implementation costs.

The report also included a presentation regarding Pepco's provisions of AMI data through its web portal
