PUCO Staff Don't Recommend Substantive Changes To Corporate Separation, Affiliate Rules

June 19,2019

Staff of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio have not recommended any substantive changes to Ohio Adm. Code Chapter 4901:1-37, which concerns corporate separation for electric utilities and affiliates.

PUCO is conducting a periodic review of the rules

In issuing the rules for public comment, PUCO said, "Staff has evaluated the rules contained in Ohio Adm.Code Chapter 4901:1-37. Staff proposes only nonsubstantive changes in punctuation to Ohio Adm.Code 4901:1-37- 01, which contains definitions for terms used in the chapter. Staff also proposes nonsubstantive changes to Ohio Adm.Code 4901:1-37-04, which concerns general provisions of the chapter, and Ohio Adm.Code 4901:1-37-05, which concerns application of rules in the chapter. The amendments only consist of changing the words 'utilities department' to 'rates and analysis' department of the Commission."
