R-J: Competition Forcing NV Energy To Lower Rates For Those Who Can Take Competitive Supply

April 15,2019

The Las Vegas Review-Journal published an editorial observing that NV Energy is lowering rates to maintain customers who are eligible to take competitive supply, but that the utility isn't offering the same discounts to customers who do not have a choice in supplier and who cannot leave utility supply

The editorial calls for the introduction of a law allowing all customers to choose their electric supplier
