Raiders' Stadium Enters Into Electric Supply Agreement With NV Energy, Eschewing Competitive Supply

October 24,2019

LV Stadium Events Company, future home of the NFL's Raiders, has entered into a long-term renewable electricity supply agreement with NV Energy, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports

LV Stadium Events had previously received approval to take competitive supply, and had selected Tenaska Power Services Co. as its competitive provider

The new agreement is under NV Energy's proposed Market Price Energy Program, an alternative option the utility is seeking to offer to certain large customers. The PUC is reviewing the proposed program

The new agreement with LV Stadium Events contains a provision which would preclude LV Stadium Events from seeking competitive supply for the Raiders properties
