Direct Energy Ohio Customer Count At 600,000, Growing

In a story on the battle between Nest and Honeywell in the smart thermostat market, where each has partnered with a retail energy supplier (Direct Energy and Constellation , respectively), the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports on Direct Energy's Ohio customer count
The Plain Dealer quotes Micah Hirschfield, director of External Relations at Direct Energy, as stating, "We like what our growth looks like in Ohio. We have seen increases in the second half of the year and are at about 600,000 customers in Ohio, counting both electricity and gas."
