DP&L Energy is automatically entering residential customers who switch to the supplier from September 8 through September 30 into a contest to win a $5,000 vacation getaway.

DP&L Energy's webpage promoting the contest lists rates which, based on DP&L Energy's Apples to Apples postings, appear to be for the Dayton Power & Light service area, and include a rate of 7.39¢/kWh for 12 months, 7.29¢/kWh for 24 months, and 7.19¢/kWh through May 2018.
