Here’s the Welcome Letter Statements the Pa. AG Alleges Are Misleading

As noted by EnergyChoiceMatters.com today, the Pennsylvania Attorney General has alleged that the welcome letters, advertisements, and other customer "inserts" from three retail suppliers are misleading in light of the actual service provided to customers.

The AG essentially argues that welcome letters and ads describe services and benefits which were not realized by customers in their actual service with the companies.

Here are some of the specific statements the AG alleged give rise to these allegations (all text quoted verbatim except where braced, quote marks omitted for brevity):
