Bloomberg: Prospects of a Public Oncor Raised by Texas PUC Rejection of NextEra Deal

Bloomberg reports that with the Texas PUC's rejection of NextEra Energy's proposed acquisition of Oncor, prospects for Oncor going public via an IPO have increased.

Other alternatives for Oncor that have been subject to analyst speculation include the potential for a reworked proposal from the Hunt Consolidated companies to acquire Oncor, or a potential bid from MidAmerican Energy or another suitor that had expressed interest during Energy Future Holdings' bankruptcy proceedings.
