ERCOT has posted a white paper on modeling of Day-Ahead Market (DAM) Point-to-Point (PTP) Obligations for contingency analysis

The informational white paper describes the current implementation of modeling Day-Ahead Market (DAM) Point-to-Point (PTP) Obligation bids in contingency analysis.

"The paper explains how the current implementation can lead to the settlement of PTP Obligation bids cleared in the DAM at a price higher than the Not-To-Exceed-Price submitted by Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)," ERCOT said in a market notice

QSEs that participate in DAM are encouraged to review the whitepaper
