Two power marketers have newly indicated an intent to export power from ERCOT to Mexico

BP Energy Company has filed with the US DOE for blanket authorization to transmit electric energy from the United States to Mexico for a term of five years

Separately, Rassini Energy Project, LLC filed an initial power marketer registration with the Texas PUC, and in such registration the company said that it will engage in wholesale marketing and export to Mexico power purchased in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas market.
