Downstate NY Lawmakers Call Nuke Subsidies "Unfair" Given Lack of Downstate Benefits

Several downstate New York legislators are objecting the PSC's nuclear subsidies -- which are being executed through procurement mandates on ESCOs and other LSEs -- as the legislators note that downstate customers will pay for 60% of the subsidies, but do not receive anything close to 60% of the power from the update nukes, Newsday reports
