An Ambit Energy representative provided the following statement to RetailEnergyX.com: "In this case, the Customer enrolled in Ambit’s Budget Billing program, which is an option that allows Customers to plan for a consistent monthly supply charge. Monthly Budget Bill charges are calculated by multiplying a Customer’s average usage from the prior year, by their selected plan’s rate. New Customers can also enroll in Budget Billing, and their average usage is calculated by using historical meter data."
