First Phase of Connecticut Electric Bill Redesign Implemented

June 30,2015

July electric bills in Connecticut will include Phase I changes required by 2014 statute to provide more information to the customer.

Changes being implemented in July include listing the default service rate on a competitive supply customer's bill, along with the shadow-billed amount the customer would have paid under default service.

Additionally changes, including listing an electric supplier's rate for the next month, are set to be implemented in January 2016
