Reliant is currently offering Texas residential customers up to three free months of service under its "Sweetest Deal" plan.

The plan, a 39-month fixed rate product, includes three free months of service appearing as a bill credit for current electricity charges reflected on the customer's 13th, 26th and 39th bill.

At Oncor, Reliant's Sweetest Deal plan includes an average all-in rate of 12.3¢/kWh (all rates quoted at 1,000 kWh), reflecting an energy charge of 8.5¢/kWh and pass-through of Oncor charges equal to $5.25 per month and 3.3189¢ per kWh.

At CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, Reliant's Sweetest Deal plan includes an average all-in rate of 13.4¢/kWh (all rates quoted at 1,000 kWh), reflecting an energy charge of 8.4¢/kWh and pass-through of CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric charges equal to $8.52 per month and 4.0981¢ per kWh.

A fee of $9.95 applies per billing cycle where usage is less than 800 kWh. The products include an early termination fee of $295.

Reliant is also offering a 13-month "Sweet Deal" plan offering 1 free month of service, and a 26-month "Sweeter Deal" plan offering 2 free months of service
