Texas Retail Supplier Affiliate Supplying Nike From Wind Farm

Avangrid Renewables, LLC, a subsidiary of AVANGRID, Inc., announced that it completed commissioning of the 307.06 MW Karankawa Wind Farm on December 30, 2019.

The facility supplies electricity to Austin Energy and Nike

The Karankawa Wind Farm is located in San Patricio and Bee counties in south Texas. Karankawa is the sixth and largest Avangrid Renewables wind farm in the state of Texas. The company’s Texas wind portfolio has a capacity of over 1,200 MW.

As exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Avangrid Renewables's affiliate, Iberdrola Texas, has recently begun offering electricity supply to residential customers in Texas
