FirstEnergy Solutions (FES), soon to be renamed Energy Harbor, announced today that it plans to move its headquarters to the former Akron Post Office in downtown Akron, Ohio building during the first quarter of 2020.

The 60,000-square-foot facility will house 150 Energy Harbor employees, including executives and management as well as professionals from finance, retail sales and marketing, nuclear generation support and other key corporate functions.

Upon emergence from restructuring, Energy Harbor will be a privately held independent power producer and a fully integrated retail energy provider with a competitive suite of products for its growing customer base.

Its fleet will be capable of producing nearly 50 million megawatt hours of electricity
