Texas PUC Approves $35,000 Settlement With Retail Provider

The Texas PUC approved a previously reported settlement under which Gexa Energy, LP will pay $35,000 to resolve alleged violations of 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) ยงยง 25.475, regarding compliance with general retail electric provider requirements and information disclosures to residential and small commercial customers, and 25.479, regarding issuance and format of bills.

The settlement had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in September

In brief, the settlement relates to the number of decimal places shown in rates presented to customers, versus the number of decimal places used to charge customers
