Texas PUC Approves Settlements With Multiple Retail Electric Providers Totaling $100,000

The Public Utility Commission of Texas approved without modification separate settlements with two retail electric providers

Both settlements had been exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com

In Docket 49684, the PUC approved a settlement under which Spark Energy, LLC will pay $90,000. See the issues addressed by the settlement in EnergyChoiceMatters.com's prior story here

Spark Energy provided the following statement concerning the approval of the settlement: "The final order from the PUCT has been a long time coming. The matter was settled months ago and we are glad to have it behind us."
