Texas PUC Names New Director Of Market Analysis

August 27,2019

The Public Utility Commission of Texas announced that Rebecca Zerwas has been named Director of Market Analysis.

The role, overseeing the division previously known as Competitive Markets, was vacated when Connie Corona was promoted to Chief Program Officer.

Zerwas first joined the Public Utility Commission in 2010 as an analyst covering both the wholesale and retail electricity markets. She left the agency to pursue an MBA at St. Edward’s University while working on the Regulatory and Government Affairs team at NRG. She spent the past year as CenterPoint Energy’s Regulatory Manager.
