Texas Retail Provider's Provocative Billboard Draws Complaints From TXU
July 10,2019
Provocative billboards from Griddy have drawn complaints, including a complaint from TXU, L.M. Sixel reports in the Houston Chronicle
Griddy's billboards, on which customers can vote on different messages which take direct aim at competitors, had been first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com in April
One billboard is emblazoned with "BS" (standing for 'bill shock' from TXU). Sixel reports Griddy officials said they received a call from TXU’s lawyers complaining about the billboards
Another billboard takes aim at Reliant asking "WTF", standing for "Why The Fees"
Reliant told the Chronicle it did not complain about the billboard
