Duke Ohio Files To Decrease Amount For Partially Bypassable Generation Uncollectibles Rider

Duke Energy Ohio has filed an update to its generation uncollectibles rider, Rider UE-GEN.

Rider UE-GEN is bypassable for accounts not participating in Duke Energy Ohio's Purchase of Accounts Receivable program. The rider applies to default service customers and retail supply customers whose accounts are included in POR

The proposed new amounts for Rider UE-GEN are as follows. A charge of $0.000467 per kWh shall be applied to all kWh delivered to residential customers. A charge of $0.17 per bill shall be applied to each non-residential customer. The rates remain subject to PUCO approval

Currently, the amounts under rider UE-GEN are as follows. A charge of $0.000690 per kWh shall be applied to all kWh delivered to residential customers. A charge of $0.41 per bill shall be applied to each non-residential customer.
