Chevron U.S.A. Inc. has registered as a Texas wholesale power marketer.

Chevron U.S.A. Inc. said that it did not have any affiliates that buy or sell electricity at wholesale power in Texas, sell electricity at retail in Texas, or that are electric or municipally owned utilities in Texas

Chevron U.S.A. Inc. in its registration said that it, "will purchase wholesale blocks of physical power to meet internal demand and manage power costs across the Electric Reliability Council of Texas ('ERCOT') market."
