Grand Sierra Resort Decides Against Taking Competitive Supply (Nevada)

Grand Sierra Resort has filed at the Nevada PUC to withdraw its previously reported application to take competitive electric supply, and instead will remain as a supply customers of NV Energy, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports

The Review-Journal reports that the company cited transmission capacity concerns in Northern Nevada for withdrawing its application.

The Review-Journal reports that the company said that it does not have such transmission concerns about the Las Vegas area, and that the company will proceed with an application for affiliate resort SLS to leave NV Energy to take competitive supply
