Maryland General Assembly Passes 50% RPS Bill

Both houses of the Maryland General Assembly have passed SB0516 which generally increases the RPS to 50% by 2030
The bill also provides for a second round of offshore wind applications
A provision of the bill includes the ability for retail suppliers to seek waivers of the solar compliance obligation at certain cost thresholds.
