World Fuel Services Corporation, which owns Kinect Energy (which acquired OnDemand Energy Solutions last year) reported fourth quarter and full year earnings.

In doing so it said that its land segment (which includes its electric supply procurement and management business) generated gross profit of $364.9 million for the year 2018, relatively flat year-over-year, "with growth in commercial and industrial activity in the U.S., our Kinect global energy services platform and our MultiService payment solutions business, offset by the elimination of certain non-core activities."
