Westchester Power Municipal Aggregation Issues RFP For New Power Supply Contract For ConEd Area

New York municipal aggregation Westchester Power has issued a Request for Proposals for electricity supply for customers in the portion of its service area with Consolidated Edison's territory, for service starting with meter read dates in January 2019

The RFP was sent electronically on September 21, 2018 to ESCOs already vetted through a previously reported request for interest process

A copy of the RFP was filed with the PSC, and is available here: (part 1), (part 2)

Among other conditions, the price under the RFP must be less than the following:

a. Residential accounts: 8.26 cents/kWh

b. Small commercial accounts: 9.06 cents/kWh
