NY Adopts Environmental Impact Statement For Offshore Wind Procurement

June 15,2018



The New York PSC has issued a final Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) analyzing the potential environmental impacts associated with the State’s potential procurement of 2.4 GW of offshore wind energy by 2030,

The GEIS does not address procurement or cost recovery/allocation issues for any such procurement (e.g. assignment to ESCOs)
