Report: Reg. Affairs Manager For Retail Supplier Exploring New York Assembly Candidacy

The Albany Times-Union reports that Kandi Terry, a former Senior Budget Analyst/Policy Analyst at the New York State Senate who now serves as a manager of regulatory affairs for Just Energy, is exploring running for the NYS Assembly seat in the 107th district, which includes most of Rensselaer County as well as areas of Washington and Columbia counties.

Terry is identified as a Republican in the Times-Union story.

Democrats currently hold a 103-37 majority in the NYS Assembly.

The 107th seat is currently vacant but was held by a Republican since 2011
