Mayor of State’s Second Largest City Seeks Authorization To Implement Opt-Out Municipal Aggregation

The mayor of the City of Worcester, MA has sought authorization from the City Council to implement an opt-out municipal electricity aggregation, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports

Worcester, with population of over 180,000, is Massachusetts's second largest city

The T&G reports that Worcester is also seeking to include some 15,000 customers on a National Grid time of use pilot in the aggregation
