Report: NY Gov. To Nominate Former NRDC Director As PSC Chair

Politico.com reports that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will nominate John Rhodes, currently President and CEO of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), as Chair of the PSC, which currently has 3 vacant seats.

Prior to joining NYSERDA, Rhodes served as the director for the Center for Market Innovation at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC)

Before joining NRDC, Rhodes spent three years as acting chief operating officer at Good Energies, an investment firm focused on renewable energy and energy efficiency. As a member of the senior management team, he oversaw operations, strategy, and portfolio companies.
