Spark Energy in reporting earnings said that its joint venture with eREX (click here for background) has enrolled more than 40,000 customers in Japan

These customers are not included in Spark Energy's reported RCE count of 774,000 RCEs

Spark Energy CEO Nathan Kroeker also said that the company is looking at the U.K. and Germany but doesn't have anything that it is ready to announce just yet.
