Texas REP Now Paying Customers 60¢/kWh Under Critical Peak Rebate

May 16,2014

Correction: This story was updated at 1:30 ET May 19 to reflect that Reliant's Degrees of Difference program bundled with Nest had always paid 80 cents per kWh

Reliant has upped its payment under its Degrees of Difference critical peak rebate program to 60 cents per kWh.

When initially launched, the critical peak rebate was announced at 30 cents per kWh

However, if the customer participates in the Degrees of Difference program bundled with a Nest thermostat and Rush Hour Rewards, the payment is 80 cents per kWh; this payment rate is unchanged since its launch last year
