Some Upset With Pa. PUC’s Handling of Polar Vortex Complaints

July 19,2016

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that some customers (turned plaintiffs in lawsuits) are upset with the Pennsylvania PUC's handling of several polar vortex complaint cases.

The Post-Gazette notes that the PUC has generally adjudicated marketing and disclosure-related claims, while not ruling on the propriety of EGS pricing, except where the pricing did not comport with prior marketing and/or disclosures.

Plaintiffs told the Post-Gazette that they are considering appealing some of the PUC's rulings
