TXU Energy has signed contracts with about two dozen Texas cities since January, the company announced today

Cities that are set to become new TXU Energy customers include:

• Galveston

• Clyde

• Fort Stockton

• Midland

• Haskell

• Mathis

• League City

• Pearland

• Cisco

• Mont Belvieu

• Big Spring

• Baird

• Colorado City

The company also has signed new contracts with existing customers, including:

• McKinney

• Southlake

• Aledo

• River Oaks

• Krum

• Colorado City

• Dawson

• Lott

TXU said that many of the new contracts include renewable energy from Texas wind and solar farms. Some also include rebates from TXU Energy for qualified energy efficiency projects.
