Texas Retail Provider Works With Children’s Health On Renewable Supply Agreement

Children’s Health, a pediatric health system in North Texas, will, in July 2016, begin purchasing RECs to offset approximately 25 percent of the system’s total electricity use, or 22,500 megawatt-hours

Children’s Health worked with its retail electricity provider TXU Energy and energy consulting firm Bridgevue Energy Services on the REC purchase

The REC purchases are contracted through June 2023
