ERCOT: Feds’ Clean Power Plan To Increase Retail Electric Rates By Up To 16%

ERCOT released a report on impacts on the federal EPA's Clean Power Plan, which found, among other things, that, "ERCOT anticipates the impacts of these changes [resulting from the Clean Power Plan] could increase retail power prices by up to 16 percent by 2030, not including the impacts of new transmission projects or other investments that could be needed to support compliance."
