Mt. Laurel Township in New Jersey has elected not to join a larger regional municipal aggregation due to its opt-out nature, the Mt. Laurel Sun reports

“We didn’t like the idea of forcing people to do something to opt out,” township manager Maureen Mitchell said, according to the Sun
