Compete Coalition Urges Competitive Wholesale Procurement in Missouri

The COMPETE Coalition announced that it has sent letters to two Missouri lawmakers in support of competitive bidding for utility procurement of generation resources in Missouri. The letters were sent to Representative Bart Korman and Senator Dave Schatz, the House and Senate sponsors of Missouri state legislation to require utilities to use competitive processes when procuring new generation resources on behalf of their customers.
