GDF SUEZ's Cofely Awarded Contract for Saskatoon Civic Operations Center

GDF SUEZ's Cofely unit announced that it has been awarded a 25-year contract to provide facilities management (FM) services for the new Civic Operations Center in Saskatoon, Canada.

The $160 million public-private partnership (P3) contract was awarded by the Saskatoon City Council to ITS (Integrated Team Solutions). ITS is a consortium led by EllisDon Capital Inc., Fengate Capital and including Kasian Architecture, EllisDon Corporation and Cofely Services inc. Cofely will be the facilities management lead, and the other companies will design, build, and finance the project.

Cofely advised the city on design and infrastructure resilience, product selection, energy usage and operational efficiencies Cofely will provide maintenance, refurbishment and renewal services maintaining prescribed performance specifications throughout the 25 year operational term.
