NYSEG, RGE File Reports On Purchase Of Receivables Programs

NYSEG and Rochester Gas & Electric filed reports on their POR programs for the periods for May 2018 through April 30, 2019.

At NYSEG, sixty-one electric ESCOs and thirty-six gas ESCOs were participating in the POR program at April 2019, serving 167,382 electric customers and 28,843 gas customers. During the rate year, NYSEG paid $221,495,591 for $225,944,609 of book receivables, resulting in a rate year total POR discount of $4,449,019.

At RGE, fifty-eight electric ESCOs and thirty-seven gas ESCOs were participating in the POR program at April 2019, serving 60,839 electric customers and 36,539 gas customers. During the period, RG&E paid $98,825,419 for $102,314,430 of book receivables, resulting in a twelve-month ending April 2019 total POR discount of $3,489,011.
