Another Long Island (LIPA) Town Considering Opt-out Municipal Aggregation

The Town of Brookhaven, New York, in the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) service area (PSEG Long Island) is considering adopting an opt-out municipal aggregation (community choice aggregation) for electricity as well as natural gas (the town is in the KeySpan service area)

Thus far, no community in the LIPA service area has implemented a municipal aggregation for electricity
