ConEd, NiMo Saw Decline Residential Shoppers During the Summer

The New York PSC has posted updated migration stats, from September 2014, and the stats show that Consolidated Edison and Niagara Mohawk saw a decline in shopping electric customers during the summer.

The PSC's previously most recent shopping stats were from June 2014.

According to the data, ConEd saw a decline of 16,000 residential electric shoppers from June to September.

NiMo saw a decline of 15,000 residential electric shoppers from June to September.

In contrast, Central Hudson saw residential electric shopping grow by 3,000 accounts, growing the percent of shopping customers from 16% to 17%
