The Binghamton (NY) Press & Sun-Bulletin reports that the new opt-out municipal electric aggregation being run by the Municipal Electric and Gas Alliance (MEGA) in New York, covering some 21 towns, has created "mass confusion" and some "anger" among residents
One resident said he was "surprised" that the default action was to be included in the aggregation
The Press & Sun-Bulletin notes that, "There is no telling whether a homeowner or small-business owner will save money over the NYSEG rate with community aggregation."
