Muni Aggregation Breaks Ground On 200 MW Solar Project

Peninsula Clean Energy, a Community Choice Aggregation serving 290,000 San Mateo County (Calif) customers, broke ground on the 200-megawatt, utility-scale Wright Solar project, which is expected to come online in late 2019.

Peninsula Clean Energy has an exclusive 25-year power purchase agreement with Wright Solar Park LLC to buy the solar facility’s electricity. The project is owned by Centaurus Renewable Energy.
