December 09,2014

NRG Energy is currently installing electric vehicle charging infrastructure and service networks in New York City and Boston, it told the Massachusetts DPU in a proceeding on EV issues.

NRG noted that it offers comprehensive networks of public charging stations in Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Baltimore/Washington DC, and in metropolitan areas throughout the State of California. NRG also recently launched a Chicago EV charging network via a partnership, and today officially announced its network of charging stations in Atlanta, Georgia.

"NRG is currently installing such networks in several metropolitan areas in the Northeast, including New York City and Boston, and offers both subscription-based and pay-per-use charging services to EV owners in all of these markets," NRG told the DPU.
